What is OptiLIFT?
OptiLIFT is a non-invasive treatment by Lumenis, often described as a non-surgical blepharoplasty because it mimics a lifted, more open eye without incisions. Dynamic Muscle Stimulation tones the muscles around the eyes to lift the lower lid and tighten laxity, while radiofrequency warms the lids to melt the thickened oils of meibomian gland dysfunction. It addresses lower eyelid laxity and sagging, impaired blinking and lagophthalmos (lids that do not fully close), and it smooths fine lines and firms aging skin around the eyes.
How does it work?
You relax while a small applicator made for the delicate eye area is placed over the treatment zone. You feel gentle, rhythmic muscle contractions and soft warmth, with no needles and no incisions. Sessions are quick, there is no downtime, and results build over a series of four treatments.
What are the benefits?
- Tightens lower eyelid laxity and sagging
- Supports a fuller blink for healthier tears
- Smooths fine lines and firms skin around the eyes
- Pairs with OptiLight for comfort and appearance

function and beauty with OptiLIFT
A weak or incomplete blink can leave tears unspread and eyes dry, and lax lids can make you look tired. OptiLIFT works on both. It gives you the lifted look people want from a blepharoplasty, without surgery, and a stronger blink so the oils in your tears can actually flow. Because Dr. Larson is a medical optometrist, your eye health is part of every treatment plan.

Is OptiLIFT a non-surgical blepharoplasty?
It is a non-surgical alternative. Surgical blepharoplasty removes skin and tissue, while OptiLIFT mimics a lifted look by toning the muscles that support the lower lid, with no incisions or recovery time.
Does OptiLIFT help dry eye?
Yes. Improving lid tone and blinking helps spread tears, which supports treatment of dry eye and MGD.
Can I combine OptiLIFT with OptiLight?
Yes. Many patients pair them to address comfort and appearance together.
